If you're arriving at the port of Livorno and you want to visit the cities of Florence and Pisa in one day, then this is the ideal tour for you. On this trip, you can experience the jewels of Tuscany.
Florence and Pisa Day Trip
At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up at Via Claudio Cogorano 1, the spot in downtown Livorno where cruise ship buses drop off passengers. From this point in the historic district, we’ll set off on a roughly 75-minute drive to Florence. The cradle of the Renaissance awaits us!
Once in Florence, we'll give you about 2 hours of free time to visit the most important sights of the capital of Tuscany. Enjoy a walkthrough of the Duomo Square, where you'll contemplate the spectacular dome of Brunelleschi, the Campanile of Giotto, and the Baptistery of San Giovanni.
Don't forget to visit the Piazza della Signoria, walk through the streets where Dante Alighieri himself used to walk, and cross the famous Ponte Vecchio, one of the undisputed symbols of the city. In addition, you can visit one of the prestigious museums of Florence and taste the typical gastronomy in the San Lorenzo market.
Afterwards, we'll regroup and head back to the bus for our next destination, where we'll arrive an hour later. In Pisa, we'll stop at the Piazza dei Miracoli, the city's most iconic site. Here, you'll find the Duomo, the Baptistery, and, of course, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the city's unmistakable landmark. There, you’ll have 1 hour of free time to admire these sights and take plenty of photos.
Finally, we’ll meet up again at Piazza dei Miracoli in Pisa to return from there to the meeting point in Livorno, where we’ll conclude this 8-hour tour.
